Here are my latest posts on my hike of the PCT. As you can see, I'm home now and faced with a closet full of little tiny shoes I can no longer wear. I'm also faced with joblessness. What does one do after such an amazing adventure? I have no answer to that, except perhaps to have a garage sale with some great deals on slightly used shoes.
Here they are in chronological order as the hike came to its conclusion.
Here's the last of my pictures:
Hey Diane,
ReplyDeleteYou did well girl, I am proud of of how far, how long, and how you overcame the isolation & continual preparations on your hike. It was a lot of hard work mixed with sheer joy of being alive again. You've encouraged me enough to give it a try someday. Perhaps we'll meet again!
Take care of yourself,
Mollyann
Congratulations Diane for completing your hike.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed reading your trip blog, learning about your numerous adventures on the PCT. You have given me inspiration to continue my own PCT journey; am going to HMOH.
I hope to join you and Tony to hike trails in our backyard - the Los Padres Forest.
Happy Trails
Paul
The Beeman
Thank you both for your encouraging words.
ReplyDeleteI hope someday to hike with you, too, beeman. I probably can't keep up with you, though. I hear you are pretty fast. But hiking together isn't as important as just getting to the same camp, so maybe it would work out.
